💫 Infinity Dance Cornwall — Autumn Update & Exciting News!

Hello Infinity Dance Family! We hope everyone has settled beautifully into the new term and is enjoying their classes as much as we are teaching them! It’s been such a joy seeing so many dancers grow in confidence, skill, and love for dance each week.

Below are some exciting updates, important uniform information, and key diary dates as we look ahead to 2026. 💜

🎓 2026 Exams – RAD Ballet & ISTD Tap & Modern

We’re planning to hold both Spring and Summer exam sessions in 2026 for RAD Ballet and ISTD Tap & Modern. At the end of each term, we’ll contact parents of the children who are ready to be entered for their next exams, with full details for the following term.

We’re so proud of all our dancers for their hard work and can’t wait to see them shine in their next exam journey! 🌟

🎭 New! Musical Theatre Classes

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new Musical Theatre dance classes! These classes are for those who love to watch and dance along to musicals old and new and try some of the fun and vibrant choreography!

Proposed class times:

• Monday 4:45–5:30pm - Reception and Key Stage 1 (Ages 4–7)

• Wednesday 4:00–5:00pm - Key Stage 2 (Ages 7–11)

(Age 12-16 Musical Theatre Classes TBC)

Location - Porthleven School

👀 Parent Watching Week

We can’t wait to welcome parents into the studio during Parent Watching Week, beginning Monday 8th December. Please come along to your child's class and have a seat.

It’s a wonderful chance to see your child’s progress, confidence, and joy in action! 💕

👕 New Infinity Dance Cornwall T-Shirts

We’re excited to share that brand new Infinity Dance Cornwall t-shirts will be available in time for Christmas!

They’re perfect for class warm-ups, workshops, the new musical theatre classes and representing our dance family at events. 💜

🩰 Uniform Update – RAD Ballet

Richard from Blue Dancewear now stocks the new official RAD Ballet uniform colours, including matching cardigans for each grade.

Here’s a quick guide to help with the correct attire:

• Dinky Dancers – Own comfortable clothing or optional Lilac Skirted Leotard

• Pre-Primary & Primary Ballet – Lilac Skirted Leotard with socks or ballet tights

Boys: white leotard or white t-shirt, navy or black cycle shorts, white socks, white ballet shoes

• Grade 1 & 2 – Powder Blue Leotard with Belt and ballet tights

Boys as above, or can wear black or navy ballet leggings.

• Grade 3 & 4 – Mulberry Leotard with Belt and ballet tights

• Grade 5 – Damson Leotard with Belt and ballet tights

• Grade 6–8, Discovering Rep & Vocational Ballet – Black, Burgundy or Navy Leotard with skirt and ballet tights

• Footwear: Ballet shoes for all, and Character shoes from Grade 1 upwards.

🎵 Uniform Update – ISTD Tap & Modern

Please note: the Blue Hyacinth colour has been discontinued, so Richard now stocks the following updated options:

• Beginners Tap & Ballet: Lilac Skirted Leotard, socks, ballet shoes, and white tap shoes

• Pre-Primary, Primary Tap & Primary / Grade 1 Modern: Delphinium Leotard (new colour), black cycle shorts or leggings, and white tap shoes

• Boys: IDC t-shirt, black cycle shorts, socks, and black tap shoes

• Grade 1 & 2 Tap, Grade 2 & 3 Modern: Royal Blue Halter-Neck Leotard, black capri leggings (¾ length), and white tap shoes for Grade 1 and black tap shoes for Grade 2.

• Grade 3 Tap & Grade 4 Modern: Red Halter-Neck Leotard, black capri leggings (¾ length), and black tap shoes

• Grade 6 Tap: Black leotard (own style), black leggings, and black tap shoes

• Contemporary: Own choice of leotard with leggings, shorts, or joggers, plus an IDC t- shirt or plain t-shirt.

• Advanced 1 Modern & Intermediate Tap: Own choice of leotard and leggings

🎄 Infinity Dance Cornwall at Helston Guildhall Christmas Market!

We’re excited to share that Infinity Dance Cornwall will have a stall at the Helston Guildhall Christmas Market on Saturday 20th December, 10am–2pm! 🎅✨

This will be a lovely opportunity to spread some festive cheer, meet more of our local community, and share what Infinity is all about. We’ll be handing out flyers and would love to include a few fun extras such as a bake sale, raffle, and possibly some handmade craft items too.

We’d be so grateful for any help or contributions from our wonderful dance families - especially from those amazing bakers among you! 🍰🧁If you’d like to donate cakes, raffle prizes, or craft items (or lend a hand on the day), please let us know - we’d absolutely love your support. 💜
