Half Term: Week commencing 26th October (2nd November first day back)

Half Day (Ages 4–5):
🕘 9:30am – 12:30pm (£15)

Full Day (School Age):
🕘 9:30am – 3:30pm (£30)

Congratulations to all ISTD Modern and Tap exam students for working so heard and taking exams, we can’t wait to receive the results.

👕 Uniform Reminder

As we move into a new term — and with some students progressing into new grades following exams — this is a great time to check that your child’s uniform still fits and is correct for their class.

If your child requires new uniform (whether they have moved up a grade or grown out of their current items), you have two options:

• Visit Richard at Blue Dancewear, who now stocks the new official RAD Ballet uniform colours (including matching cardigans for each grade)

• Or speak to Miss Lucy or Miss Kathryn, who can order uniform on your behalf if you provide sizes

Here is a quick guide to uniform requirements:

• Dinky Dancers – Own comfortable clothing or optional lilac skirted leotard

• Pre-Primary & Primary Ballet – Lilac skirted leotard with socks or ballet tights

  • Boys: white leotard or white t-shirt, navy or black cycle shorts, white socks, white ballet shoes

• Grade 1 & 2 – Powder blue leotard with belt and ballet tights

  • Boys: as above or black/navy ballet leggings

• Grade 3 & 4 – Mulberry leotard with belt and ballet tights

• Grade 5 – Damson leotard with belt and ballet tights

• Grade 6–8, Discovering Rep & Vocational Ballet – Black, burgundy or navy leotard with skirt and ballet tights

• Musical Theatre Uniform - Infinity Dance Cornwall T-Shirt, black leggings/jogging bottoms/dance trousers, jazz shoes

• Footwear: Ballet shoes for all students, with character shoes required from Grade 1 upwards

✨ Hair: A ballet bun is required from Grade 1 onwards, as this supports correct alignment and technique (especially for turns and pirouettes)

🎵 Uniform Update – ISTD Tap & Modern

Please note: the Blue Hyacinth colour has been discontinued, so Richard now stocks the following updated options:

• Beginners Tap & Ballet: Lilac Skirted Leotard, socks, ballet shoes, and white tap shoes

• Pre-Primary, Primary Tap & Primary / Grade 1 Modern: Delphinium Leotard (new colour), black cycle shorts or leggings, and white tap shoes

• Boys: IDC t-shirt, black cycle shorts, socks, and black tap shoes

• Grade 1 & 2 Tap, Grade 2 & 3 Modern: Royal Blue Halter-Neck Leotard, black capri leggings (¾ length), and white tap shoes for Grade 1 and black tap shoes for Grade 2.

• Grade 3 Tap & Grade 4 Modern: Red Halter-Neck Leotard, black capri leggings (¾ length), and black tap shoes

• Grade 6 Tap: Black leotard (own style), black leggings, and black tap shoes

• Contemporary: Own choice of leotard with leggings, shorts, or joggers, plus an IDC t- shirt or plain t-shirt.

• Advanced 1 Modern & Intermediate Tap: Own choice of leotard and leggings

🎉 Celebrating One Year of Infinity Dance Cornwall!

This month marks our first anniversary since starting the Infinity Dance Cornwall journey and what an incredible year it has been!

We simply wanted to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to every one of our wonderful dancers, parents and families for your support and encouragement over the past year. Watching our dance family grow, seeing our students flourish, and sharing so many special moments together has been an absolute privilege.

From classes and examinations to performances, workshops and exciting new opportunities, none of it would have been possible without your continued support.

We are so excited for everything still to come and can’t wait to create even more wonderful memories together in the years ahead.
